Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs: Colorado Spring Utilities enters into an electric and natural gas intergovernmental support agreement with Fort Carson, which will begin next January. The agreement allows Colorado Spring Utilities to operate, maintain, and repair Fort Carson's infrastructure. According to the garrison commander, the agreement is a win-win for both parties. (Colorado Springs Gazette)The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking the community to help them identify two men who robbed a local 7-Eleven on Jul. 21, 2021. The convenience store is located at 1801 E Platte Avenue. Anyone with information about the incident is being instructed to contact Crime Stoppers or the department. (Colorado Springs Gazette)An investigation finds that Colorado Springs Utilities paid more than $400,000 in severance payments to former employees. The largest payment, according to the records obtained by 13 Investigates, was $128,682.24 to the former Chief Customer Corporate Services Officer.
