Our work environment includes: • Growth opportunities • On-the-job training • Lively atmosphere City Floral Landscaping, a 100+ year old company, is seeking experienced gardeners/horticulturalists to join our personal gardening, maintenance, and small projects team. General duties of this position include: · On-going recurring garden maintenance · Installation of smaller landscape projects (additions, rejuvenation) · Custom annual installation · Weeding Beds · Deadheading and cutting back · Spring and Fall Clean up · Mulch and Soil Amendment in beds · Other specialized gardening services Candidates must have a firm commitment to high quality standards, service oriented, and team- players, who work well alone or in a crew. They will be expected to receive and carry out instructions in a positive, productive manner and with strict adherence to City Floral’s standards of excellence in both products and services. They will consistently ask questions, be eager and able to learn new skills, have an extremely good eye for detail, and be willing to actively support and dedicate themselves to the unique philosophies and methodologies of the organization. Must be hard-working, dependable, on-time, take pride in their work and have a desire to continually improve upon existing skills, knowledge, and productivity, as they apply to City Floral in particular.
