Mr. Fritz is 3 years old neutered male German she rat haired pointer. He was born January 3rd 2019, and he is truly the most loving dog we have had. He gets along well with kids, adults, other dogs and farm animals. He is crate trained, does not mark in the house or chew things. He knows basic commands by voice and hand signals. And he is always up for hiking, running, walking, playing fetch, etc. He is up to date on shots and has no allergies or health problems. We just had routine blood work done 2 months ago which also confirmed he is as healthy as can be! He is 75lbs. Due to his high energy and having to relocate die to work we are sadly looking to rehome him. We want to insure he goes to a loving forever home so an adoption fee will apply. He should go to an experienced dog owner as pointers are known to be very stubborn and full of energy! Now on to the hard qualities: he is a stubborn boy. Not in bad behavior just in training, he will listen when he wants to. They are also hard to keep focused because they are so aware of the birds flying over head or smells. He does walk well with a gentle leader collar. He also needs a tall fence. He can climb 6-7 foot fences without a problem! If you have any questions or would like to meet him please let me know. We have always fed him grain free food, we chose wellness core but I’m sure you can mix in your desired food. Thank you for looking!
