Lately I've noticed that alot of cops have been harassing us for flying signs and other forms of begging. I did some research on the matter and I actually discovered something interesting. The law that covers this and other forms of begging is 13a-11-9(a)(1) "loitering with intent to beg" which was deemed unconstitutional in 3 cases in Montgomery recently. Even having a federal judge file a preliminary injunction against enforcement. This is not the only case however. There was another "Robert Willis v. Lakewood WA" for the same exact thing. If you are arrested for this get a lawyer asap you have the right to sue this city for creating this law and the police for enforcing this same law.
