Hey Hey! I'm a 52 yr old bassist, 40 yrs stage and studio time.I've been OFF the Scene now for a couple yrs & I'm looking to FORM / JOIN like-minded musicians into the music of GOV'T MULE, LED ZEP, BLACK CROWES....dynamic, groove-oriented music where all get to shine and the ensemble is key, not one particular player. IF you have the same tired set-list as most of the local working bands..........I'm not your man IF you have to dumb down arrangements / parts for someone in the band.....I'm not your man IF you are more concerned about getting paid, than getting it right...............I'm not your man HOWEVER, IF.. * you'd rather MAKE music than just RE-CREATE it...............................We should talk *dynamics ( laying back during verses to HEAR the singer ) are big on your list....we should talk *keeping the volume at a point where ALL instruments are heard clearly, and mix cleanly....we should talk *you realize the tones are as important as the notes, and that comes with time spent playing together, Well...you get the idea. FULL DISCLOSURE.....even though I'm only 52, my spine is in rough shape, and my heavy lifting days are DONE. I can't haul PA speakers, or much else physically. BUT if you want a very musical, talented, bassist who knows the POCKET intimately, easy going ( 420, non drinker) and want to proceed anyways, feel free to reach out. Making music, playing bass is what I know. Without it, my soul is withering away. I NEED to play my bass, making music, not just re-creating
