DEARBORN, MI — Fordson High School in Dearborn was briefly placed on lockdown Wednesday morning as police arrested a person wanted in connection to a Detroit homicide, officials said. The high school was placed on lockdown at 8:40 a.m. while police pursued the suspect in the area, officials said. Officers from the Detroit and Dearborn Police Department's said they chased the suspect to the high school's parking lot, where the suspect got out of the vehicle and ran away on foot toward Schaefer Road. The suspect was arrested shortly later by officers. The high school was on lockdown for 20 minutes and there are no suspected threats to the school or nearby neighborhoods related to this incident, officials said.
