Fire Safety Winners Recognized

At the November 20th Northampton Township Supervisors meeting the 12 winners of the CPCU Fire Safety in the Home Contest from Council Rock Elementary Schools were presented Citations by Northampton and Newtown Townships, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, State Senators Tommy Tomlinson and Steve Santarsiero and State Representatives Wendi Thomas and Perry Warren. Contest coordinator Pete Palestina coordinated the ceremony and the winners were called up to receive their citations and congratulations by Jessica Kearney, Secretary of the Philadelphia Chapter CPCU Society. Presenting the citations were Supervisor Chairman Barry Moore for Northampton and Newtown Townships, Peter Chong for Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, Regina Cairo for Representative Perry Warren, Kevin Bongarzone for Representative Wendi Thomas, Nick Diasio for Senator Tommy Tomlinson and Ethan Seletsky for Senator Steve Santarsiero. The award winners were as follows: 1ST and 2ND GRADE CATEGORY 1st Place: Gabriel Cocco Newtown Twp. 2nd Place: Johnny Reilly Newtown Twp. 3rd Place: Sofia Ogrizovic Northampton Twp. 4th Place : Andrew Sussman Northampton Twp. 3RD and 4TH GRADE CATEGORY 1st Place: Alison Butkiewicz Northampton Twp. 2nd Place: Trenton Wackowski Northampton Twp. 3rd Place : Misa Jeiranashnli Newtown Twp. 4th Place : Ichiro Gardner Northampton Twp. 5TH and 6TH GRADE CATEGORY 1st Place: Weston Wackowski Northampton Twp. 2nd Place : Sree Allampally Newtown Twp. 3rd Place: Brian Kiedaisch Newtown Twp. 4th Place : Emma Pachai Newtown Twp.
