A local law firm offers $100 to be on a "Mock Jury" on Wednesday, March 23rd from 5:45 pm - 8:30 pm. Are you interested? (YES or NO?) (7) Are you available for the FULL TIME WINDOW from 5:45 pm-8:30pm by Zoom on March 23rd? (YES or NO?) (8) Do you have a working laptop computer or tablet/IPad with wireless access and the ability to use Zoom? (Smartphone will not suffice) (YES or NO?) (9) Do you have a quiet space where you can focus and close the door for the entirety of the session? (YES OR NO?) (10) You are a U.S. citizen living in Missouri. (YES or NO?) (11) You are age 18 or over. (YES or NO?) (12) You have never been convicted of a felony. (YES or NO?) If you are selected to participate, we will contact you by phone with a survey to select the final participants. Deadline to contact us if interested is 3/18/2022 at 7pm. If selected, you will be paid $100 for your time from 5:45 pm-8:30 pm after you finish your surveys and paperwork by check, Zelle, or Venmo. You will be expected to listen carefully to the case, discuss with the other jury members openly and honestly, and provide some written feedback. You will be expected to be respectful to your fellow jurors, and while you can eat dinner as you participate, you will be expected not to drink alcohol or take any recreational substances. Your camera will need to be on the entire time as well, and you’ll need to ensure that there is no disruptive background noise. Please make sure you respond to ALL TWELVE QUESTIONS above.
