Disabled woman in Southie is looking for part time home health care. No certifications or experience necessary - just a willingness to learn! Must be comfortable with performing personal care. I have a spinal cord injury with limited mobility from the mid chest down, and I use a power wheelchair - but I’m otherwise very healthy and independent! Job duties include all aspects of ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Some lifting required. Experience helpful but will train! Shifts are part time, usually 2 to 3 hours per shift, early mornings (between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m.) and later evenings (between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.), flexible days and times. All shifts are currently available, starting immediately - you can make your own schedule! This is an ideal job for someone who lives in South Boston - walk to work! It’s a great fit for a nursing student or student in a similar field, such as PT, OT, NP, pre-med, public health, biology, etc. Also open to PCAs, CNAs, HHAs, or other healthcare workers.
