Description
Guitarist, composer, singer, and theorist of all music now suited for Metal due to the acquisition of a Marshall AVT-150 half-stack which sounds excellent both overdriven and tube warm clean.
I don't derive compositions from what other bands do at this point, I compose what I want to express through my decades of music study. So I couldn't give you any names of (famous) bands as examples. I am deep into harmony, so I compose much more than just your typical average consecutive parallel 5ths or E and A barre chords. I compose altered and extended harmonically-full chords, sometimes laden with once forbidden tritones, played with Metal crunch, yet clean enough for each distinctive chord voice to cut through. I like combining linear guitar & bass unison lines with a couple of lush power chords at the turnaround. Musically, I know what I'm doing. I have studied music extremely seriously for most of my entire life. I am also very knowledgeable of all music gear.
1. Seeking a technically proficient drummer who understands triplets from sixteenths and how time signatures work would be ideal, but I'll jam with anyone who will show up at least once.
2. The bassist, I can teach all notes scales, modes, interval theory, read, write, etc. etc. if you don't know already know and want to learn, or I can just show you where to put your fingers.
I am very open to other guitar, keys, singers, writers, after rhythm section established.
There is no chance of noise complaints where I live.
Any Metal drummers and bass players who want to jam?
Thanks.
