There is never a typical day in the event business. One day you will be working in the warehouse organizing and inventorying equipment and the next day you will be out on the event site helping to make someone's vision become a reality. We work with several clients producing all types of events, including music festivals, concerts, corporate events, weddings, live streaming, charitable fundraisers and any other type of event a client needs help with. Exceeding our client's expectations and making sure they are 110% satisfied with our services, is our top priority! To ensure that we exceed our client's expectations, we must be prepared to jump into any situation to solve the issue, to make sure the event runs as smooth as possible. The Event Warehouse Coordinator will provide operational management and support for the labor crew and event assets to ensure a successful event experience. This role is responsible for overseeing the warehouse staff, loading and unloading trucks, event installation and strike management, inventory maintenance and tracking, fleet maintenance, and labor services to support our operations team. Ideal Candidates must be self-motivated individuals, proficient in time management, flexible schedules that allow them to work nights, weekends, and holidays, have exceptional organizational and planning skills, and have an interest to work with all types of people and events. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Strong communication and leadership skills Self-motivated individual with great time management skills and works well under pressure and deadlines Good with power tools, painting and construction projects Have experience driving a box truck of 16ft or larger Be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to operate heavy machinery including a fork-lift, boom lift, scissor lift, and reach lift Valid Driver's License Ability to lift 60 pounds or more Good working knowledge of Gmail, Excel, Word, or equivalent programs. Be available to work a varied schedule of mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays JOB DUTIES Organize and keep an accurate inventory of all equipment and assets Organize and manage warehouse Supervise warehouse staff Effectively communicate with clients Pulling, cleaning, repairing, and prepping equipment for upcoming events Ordering supplies and equipment as needed Managing the return of rented equipment to suppliers, making sure equipment is returned complete and any damage or missing items are reported Manage crew on event installations and strikes Loading and unloading trucks ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments May work in drastic temperature climates A positive environment with the ability to work in an exciting and unique business
