New RHYTHM SECTION Needed for The Roving Eyes

The last version of the band broke up a couple years ago but an album was released on Spotify last December, and the band now has over 13,000 monthly listeners, so, it seems like a good time to get out there again. And might as well keep the name, since it's mostly my songs. We recorded the songs in 2019 with John Neff, who has quite a full history in the music business ( he played keyboards on Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now," and played bass with Steppenwolf in the 70's, to name a few things ). This wasn't the first version of The Roving Eyes, but it was the most successful. We played at many nightclubs and bars, including the Kenton Club, the White Eagle, Bare Bones, Slim's in St. Johns, and the Gemini in Lake Oswego. So now, post-Covid, I'd like to get a band going again. There was a previous version of The Roving Eyes that was a three-piece, so I'm capable of doing the power trio thing. I just need a good drummer and a good bass player. I would prefer to find a good second guitarist too, eventually ( the previous second guitarist is involved in a jazz project now ). Goals will include playing some shows, building a bigger following, and eventually doing some more recording. I would love to have a song become a hit on the radio some day! I'll want to play a few of the songs that are on the Bandcamp. I've got a few good new ones too, as well as other good ones. I'm open to playing the songs others want to play. And I'm open to playing originals from other band members, and collaborating on songs. Playing a few cover songs is always fun too (less obvious ones ).
