BOZEMAN SITE SERVICES Irrigation Crew Leader To apply please go to: Non-exempt, Full-Time, Seasonal The Irrigation Crew Leader strategically leads their crew, ensuring that work tickets are completed successfully with safety, quality and efficiency to BSS standards, while facilitating a culture that embraces continuous improvement, is client-focused and promotes ethical behavior that empowers their team to maintain these standards. STRATEGIC WORK 1. Motivates staff to perform with excellence by modeling professionalism and servant leadership 2. Monitors team equipment and ensures that all essential repairs are reported in a timely manner 3. Adheres to and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for routine division practices 4. Trains new hires on Aspire 5. Communicates with Division Leader regarding team needs 6. Meets with Division Leader weekly to discuss quality and improvement and team’s performance TACTICAL WORK 1. Explains and carries out the most efficient way to perform a job, including irrigation start ups, shut down and repairs 2. Explains any notes about the job 3. Double checks that the job is complete and property is left better than when BSS arrived 4. Picks up any garbage or debris on jobsite 5. Ensures records are correctly entered in Aspire 6. Monitors and demonstrates safe use of equipment and drives (and backs-up) truck and trailer to/at worksites 7. Communicates with clients on jobsite with professionalism, respect and confidentiality 8. Makes necessary preparations for the next day as noted in Standard Operating Procedures 9. Performs regular irrigation system audits 10. Exhibits willingness to work on any company crew (BSS prefers and provides opportunities for year-round employment) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. 18 years of age or older 2. One year experience strongly preferred but will train 3. Legal, valid, unrestricted, driver's license 4. Reasonable Suspicion Training for Supervisors provided at BSS 5. Ability to back up and drive with a trailer efficiently PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS 1. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling 2. Lifting and raising objects up to 55 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position, to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles 3. Fingering, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion 4. Talking and hearing 5. Subject to changing environmental conditions, including small and/or wet spaces 6. Subject to business office environment
