Swiftway Services LLC in Columbia, MD is looking for one driver/mover to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working. We are urgently hiring for our Professional Moving team! Our mission is to take the pain out of moving by becoming the most reliable local moving team. We build relationships through community, reliability, and reputation and we are looking for Professional Mover team members who can embody that every day and with every client. No experience required to apply - we train every member of our team on high-level communication skills, logistics and efficiency. Responsibilities Wrap household goods for transit Perform packing jobs as necessary Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle Assist as needed in loading trucks and/or containers for forward movement via interstate commerce Pre-trip inspections alongside drivers of all aspects of equipment including truck interior, straps and tensioners, walk-boards, etc Complete household goods inventory Perform work at warehouse as needed Other duties as assigned Lifting of objects 75+ pounds Frequent squatting and bending Frequent use of stairs Light disassembling and reassembling of furniture, ensuring customer satisfaction. Qualifications Honest - trustworthy and forthcoming when mistakes happen Team player - willing to do what it takes for the greater good Detail-oriented - pays attention to the little things Respectful - careful and cautious with others' property Ability to meet physical requirements such as lifting objects up to 75+ lbs Ability to work long days and weekends if needed Must be at least 18 years High school graduate (preferred) We are looking forward to reading your application.
