Description

Stormy is heterochromia, meaning he is extra special with one blue eye/one brown. He is a mutt, we got him from the OKC shelter. My best guess is lab/pit/and maybe husky to account for the eyes! He is about two years old. He is neutured, and up to date on his rabies vaccine. Stormy is the best dog to people, and great with my teens. He has never been around small children, and is very strong so I would be careful. He is good with cats, and has never chased ours. He has also been exposed to chickens and done okay under supervision. Stormy loves to cuddle, and also jog. My husband takes him on three mile runs and he keeps up and loves the activity. He also just loves a good walk, and does well on a leash. He passes other dogs okay when on the leash. Stormy knows sit and is working on stay. He can also shake, and is food motivated. Why Stormy needs some work: Stormy needs a six foot fence, as he is a jumper. He is way less likely to jump if he gets his exercise though. Stormy is not doing well with our other male dog. Stormy seems triggered by other young male dogs, and has had difficulty with our neighbor's dog as well through the fence. Stormy would do best in a home where he is an only dog. Stormy does seem to do well with our older female dog, but she does not get in his space. Stormy has bitten our other male dog, and we do not want to put him in this situation that is causing him so much stress. Stormy would do wonderful with an active guy, or a couple willing to give him love. If you are interested in Stormy we would love to give him a home where he feels secure and safe. He is the best boy.
