CUSTODIAN Trinity Episcopal Church, Excelsior, MN 55331 Part Time; $20/hour for approximately 5 - 10 hours/week Job Announcement: Seeking a reliable, attentive, and service-oriented individual to serve as our church Custodian. This position performs various cleaning and facility set up tasks to provide staff and visitors a safe and clean environment free from hazards. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide weekly and as-needed cleaning of church and adjacent facilities (meeting rooms, restrooms, classrooms, etc.) • Collect and dispose of all trash and recyclable materials on a regular schedule and identify items throughout the property that may be due for disposal • In coordination with church members, assist with room set up and take down for large parish events • Ensure church grounds, exit/entry points, and other gathering places are kept clear, clean, and free from safety hazards • Identify and report to Facilities Manager and Rector any property defects that may require maintenance or replacement • Be able to perform light maintenance work as-needed, such as changing light bulbs APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Resume or other description of experiences (please include: name of facility/building, location, time in position, description of duties/tasks) • Names and contact information for at least 2 references from current or prior supervisors/managers.
