Home City Ice is now hiring! We are currently looking to fill route delivery positions at our location in Clarksburg, WV. Although it is preferred, no commercial driver's license is required. Upon being hired, we will provide on job training to get you into a commercial driver’s license. We do require all new hires that do not currently have a CDL, to go through our CDL training and to obtain their CDL. We will reimburse you for costs of doing so. All applicants must have a safe driving record and must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Route drivers are required to run predetermined routes in areas typically located within one hour of our terminal. While running routes, you will drive safely from customer to customer and fill their ice merchandisers. Making deliveries consists primarily of stacking packaged ice on to a cart, taking it down a lift gate, pushing cart to ice box, and neatly stacking ice in our customer's ice boxes. Route drivers are paid hourly plus commission bonuses. This is a seasonal job; due to demand we offer full time hours during the summer months, while offering part time during spring and fall.
