Independent Promotional Ambassadors Needed for CT Wine & Spirits Tasting Events COMPENSATION: $25.00-$30.00 an hour POSITION TYPE: independently contracted, per event, as occasional work Can set hours and are able to work for other employers doing similar work We are a local Wine & Spirits Distributor currently hiring out Male and Females 21+ to work tasting events in package/liquor retail stores as Promotional Ambassadors representing the brands in our company portfolio. Promotional Ambassadors are trained and educated on our broad product lines. We are seeking outgoing, responsible, reliable, SALES ORIENTED workers to staff these events and promote the brands we distribute. Events last between 2-4 hours and are compensated starting at $25.00 per hour. This is an occasional event opportunity, meaning no certain amount of hours are guaranteed, but we are looking for reliable professionals that will be given as many events as possible if proven successful. Events are held in the following CT counties: Hartford County, Middlesex County, Tolland County, Windham County, & New London County. You will only be staffed/ asked to work in the areas near where you live. You must have open Friday evening & Saturday availability to be considered. Experience is not mandatory but is very much preferred. The desire to learn is required. We provide paid training. YOU MUST have the following: Outgoing Personality Outstanding Communication Skills Positive Attitude & Energetic Presence Basic knowledge of Wines & Spirits Weekend Availability (starting Fridays approximately 4PM) Flexible Schedule Ability to Retain Product Information Reliable Transportation Access to a computer Cell phone Responsibilities & Tasks include the following: - Interacting face to face with consumers and educating them on product - Passing out samples of product to consumers and promoting sales - Interacting with account management professionally & responsibly to build and maintain credible relationships - Handing in an event follow up report, timecard, and photos after completing event shift Please email your resume highlighting any sales experience, liquor industry experience, server experience, or promoting experience you may have.
