911 Restoration is currently looking for a Restoration Technicians The Restoration Technician will be primarily responsible for water extraction and cleanup phase of residential or commercial businesses that have experienced water/fire/mold damage. Our Restoration Technicians perform basic tasks such as demolition, removal of debris, and discuss field observations with the project manager to ensure project execution and accuracy is timely. The Restoration Technician will also provide carpet, upholstery, and tile & grout cleaning services for customers as needed. The Restoration Technician will set up, monitor progress, and tear down the drying equipment. Responsibilities: • Water Extraction • Performing demolitions and light construction task • Setting up and monitoring drying equipment • Setting up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures • Cleaning up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged • Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment • Providing updates to your direct supervisor daily • Must maintain a safe work record and identify potentially unsafe working scenarios or conditions • Good communication skills, mechanical and technical skills • Driving company vehicle as needed • Upon returning to branch, turn in all payments and paperwork to designated person • Upholding all company safety policies • Upholding all company policies and procedures • Other tasks as assigned Qualifications and Competencies: • Driver's License (Required) • High school diploma or equivalent (Required); IICRC Certification, Asbestos and/or Lead Supervisor Certification (Preferred); IICRC training will be provided • Motor Vehicle Record Check • Criminal Background Check Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00 to $28.00 /hour Experience: • Restoration: 1 year (Preferred) Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) License: • MI - Michigan (Required) Please send your resume for considerations
