Tractor-Trailer Crashes On I-93 In Windham, Goes Over Embankment

WINDHAM, NH — On October 23, 2020 at 8:45a.m. a tractor-trailer traveling north on Interstate 93 struck a guardrail and continued off the right side of the roadway. The A.Duie-Pyle tractor trailer traveled several feet before coming to a stop over an embankment. New Hampshire State Police blocked the breakdown lane for an extended time while Duval's Towing set up heavy duty tow trucks to stabilize and remove the tractor trailer. At just before noon, the truck was removed. According to someone at the scene, the driver told them that they fell asleep. The driver was not injured. NH State Police Troop B, and NHSP Troop G highway enforcement is on scene for the investigation.
