Older guitarist looking for gig. I play classic rock, blues, old-school hard rock and metal (standard tuned), 70s prog, 80s rock and pop, a little jazz and fusion, have been known to play pop and R&B on occasion, can read charts, well rounded, experienced, etc...however mainstay is heavy bluesy rock and that's what I like playing the most. Main influences are Jimmy Page, Joe Walsh, Jimi Hendrix, Alex Lifeson, David Gilmour, Ritchie Blackmore, Rory Gallagher, Peter Green, Robin Trower, Jeff Beck, etc. I play a Strat, an SG and a Tele, and have pro rigs for all volume levels from modern digital no-amp to old-school jet engine loud tubes and speakers. Reliable, dependable, vaxxed. Know hundreds of songs, can learn fast. Open to a possible startup and I have jam space with PA in Newark. Looking for either a startup or gig that is fun and plays fun music (no Mustang Sally, see above for influences), or an established group with regular and frequent paying gigs (Mustang Sally OK). I'm a decent singer, can front, but prefer sideman work unless it's really up my alley stylistically (see above for influences). I've been playing for 40 years and practice every day, so no beginners, please. Thanks.
