After School and Summertime Nanny Needed

Our family is looking for an after school and summertime nanny who is willing to become part of our family. We live in the McLean area and one parent works part-time from home. Our kids are very self-sufficient and need minimal assistance with duties listed below. Primary Duties During School Year: - Picking up children from elementary school at 3:30 pm. School is within walking distance to the home. - Assisting with after school snack and activities as needed (no homework) - School year hours 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm Primary Duties During Summertime: - Helping children with meals and snacks - Assisting in drop off and pick up from activities including swim team, dance, and band camp. Most activities are within a short walk of the home. - Summertime hours TBD based on your availability and family’s needs Ideal Candidate - Energetic, outgoing, organized, and punctual - Ok with pets (goldendoodle and lab mix) - Willing to participate in activities with the kids (art projects, playing outside, going for walks on nature trails) - Has own transportation and willing to drive children as needed - Willing to help with very light housekeeping as needed: helping the kids organize and pick up laundry, helping kids keep backpacks and other activity supplies put away. The family has a regularly scheduled housekeeper. No additional cleaning or housekeeping outside of minimal assistance with kids’ items is required. Pay - Hourly pay $18-20 per hour - Paid weekly
