WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help. For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found, including some found by Will County Animal Control, or listed on Lost Cats Illinois or Lost Dogs Illinois. Aurora Norma the cat has been missing from Aurora since Oct. 31. She was last seen at Sunrise Circle and Daybreak. Bolingbrook Max the male Husky has been missing from Bolingbrook since Nov. 4. Vinny the male Yorkshire Terrier has been missing from Bolingbrook near Field Crest and Waterside drives since Nov. 2. Willow, a female American Bulldog, has been missing from Bolingbrook near Boughton and Orchard since Nov. 2. Homer Glen A stray male mix was found in Homer Glen Oct. 30. Gio the miniature Schnauzer has missing from Homer Glen since Nov. 5. Joliet This female Labrador Retriever mix was found in Joliet near Rowell and Caroline avenues. The finder is only accepting calls from the owner. Shorewood This cat was found in Shorewood Nov. 1 at Wildflower Drive and Nightshade Lane. For more information on pets found by Will County Animal Control, call them at (815) 462-5633. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility. If you are looking for a lost pet, you can email [email protected] to have your pet added to the article.
