Martin Marietta is currently looking for energized individuals to work with one of our portable production crews, this crew travels to different sand plants around Central Iowa and Eastern Nebraska to help with production. This position would be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment and maintenance on the portable plant. This position is paid a competitive hourly wage as well as drive time pay, mileage pay and $125 per diem pay when not working at the base location. Essential Functions: -Responsible for operating a variety of equipment utilized in dredge mining -Perform daily inspection of vehicle and work area -Perform repairs and routine maintenance on plant and mobile equipment -Observe visual and auditory signals during vehicle operation -Maintain consistent and efficient operation of plant -Diagnose and assist in trouble-shooting when process is interrupted -Perform preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections as needed All other duties as assigned: -Position Type/Expected Hours of Work -This is a full-time position that may require long hours and weekend work.
