Seeking Full-Time Carpenter/Carpenter Helper for Opportunity with well-established general contracting company of 30 years. Seeking seasoned carpenter/carpenter helper; reliable and experienced in residential and commercial renovations. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in all phases of construction including excavation, masonry, framing, sheetrock, tile and trim. Ability to lift/move heavy equipment, job material and construction debris. Must have own tools, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Rockaway, NJ, Morris County area. Job Responsibilities • Carpenter applicants are required to be able to: frame, sheetrock, hardware, install acoustical ceilings, woodwork and have general construction knowledge and experience Applicants must: • have experience with all aspects of drywall including tape, spackle, caulk, putty, sand sheetrock to make ready for paint • have a general understanding of plumbing and electrical and the construction process in relation to our subcontractors. • have the ability to work independently, yet cohesively as part of a team • have excellent organization and communication skills • be Fluent in English (Bilingual is a plus) • have the physical capability to perform strenuous manual labor to include lifting 50-100 pounds • adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines • have a clean and valid Driver’s License If you are a highly motivated professional with a passion for helping others on a team, we encourage you to apply and join our organization.
