Benson is possibly the nicest, kindest dog in the history of ever. We don’t know how we got so lucky with this young (1yo), medium sized (46lbs) boy. Our best guess is Benson is possibly an American Pitbull Terrier mixed with Labrador. If you are looking for an easy-going, happy, exceptionally sweet, wonderful dog to join your home – this is your future best friend. Trained/Socialized Benson easily adjusted to his foster home and is already crate and house trained and knows basic obedience commands. He has excellent manners and is also learning how to fetch! He likes the little dogs and big dogs he has met and lives with, and he hangs out with cats and farm animals – he's a friend to all. Benson walks on a leash, rides in the car like a gentleman, is generally a pretty quiet dog who rarely barks, and would be a great dog to join you out to Home Depot or on your favorite restaurant patio. He also loves to hang out calmly in the yard while his foster mom gardens. He listens incredibly well. Easy Going Benson has a perfect energy level. He will romp and play if you want to and he loves toys. But, he will also cuddle and snooze when needed. He is very friendly and affectionate and has never met a stranger. His favorite laying position is the frog leg sploot. It doesn’t get any better than that. This is a very good boy, and we can all now quit asking "Who's a good boy?" It's Benson. To find the whole package in such a young canine is truly one-in-a-million.
