D&W is looking for a Facilities and Safety Manager for our corporate facility in Auburn, New York. Job Responsibilities: •Plan, supervise, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance. •Negotiate contracts and manage the services provided by outside companies related to facility maintenance. •Oversee the maintenance and inspections for all D&W owned vehicles. •Ensure compliance with all safety programs and policies at D&W. •Provide safety training orientation to all new employees. •Coordinate construction projects, remodels and other facilities support projects. Job Requirements: •Four years of increasingly responsible facility maintenance experience including some lead supervisory experience. •Knowledge of materials, methods, terminology, equipment, and tools used in the maintenance, repair, and construction of building structures and systems including those used in performing rough and finished carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical, and paint work. •Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills. •Ability to accept flexible work assignments and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
