CSLDallas | A Center for Spiritual Living, Metaphysics, Transformation, and Spiritual Community in Dallas Texas Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Tech Hours: 10 hours per week Pay Scale: $15/hour as an independent contractor Perfect part time job for someone seeking additional income, a flexible schedule and the ability to work in an uplifting and empowering environment! CSLDallas, A Center for Spiritual Living, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech to work 10 hours per week to keep our beautiful 25,000 sf campus in top shape. Monitor the campus for facilities needs and fulfill those needs. Arrange and distribute furnishings as required for classes, special functions and storage Routine and preventative maintenance: thermostats, clocks, plumbing, indoor and outdoor fountains, humidify piano, fixing broken items, tightening tables, seasonal weatherproofing General repairs and routine handyman tasks such as paint touch ups, light bulb changes, mechanical repairs, light plumbing, light electrical and wall repair Run errands Interact with vendors and service providers Utilize volunteer community members to complete tasks as needed Respond to emergency issues and escalate as necessary Identify and report the need for major repairs and when they are required Seasonal ground maintenance: leaf blowing breezeways and parking lots Arrange and maintain storage rooms Maintain facilities closets including tools, hardware, paint, equipment, etc. Maintain and ensure adequate inventories of supplies Maintain campus map with locations of facilities infrastructure: breaker boxes, thermostats, water shut offs, drains, fire alarm panels, fire extinguishers, etc. Assemble furnishings and other products, hang objects on walls Coordinate with cleaning staff as needed Other facilities maintenance tasks as required Reports to the Managing Director Educational/Skill Requirements Light handyman and/or facilities maintenance experience Moderately heavy lifting and ability to be fast-paced Well-organized Efficient in research and problem-solving. Good communication skills. Fluent in English. Being reliable, proactive, flexible, self- motivated and attentive to detail with the ability to honor deadlines are a must to be successful in this position.
