The Manufacturing Support at Coastal Enterprises Company is responsible for a number of tasks in support of the Dispense, Block Cutting & Shipping Departments. The position plays an integral roll in the manufacturing of Precision Board blocks and sheets. Daily responsibilities will vary depending on the immediate needs of all three manufacturing departments and are not limited to those listed below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Run assigned band saw per operating instructions. • Ensure cuts are made accurately and with precision per order requirements. • Maintain a clean work area throughout the day for proper operations. • Help with daily and monthly inventory. • Assist Shipping in packaging orders when required. • Assist Bonding Team with custom bonding when required. • Assist Dispense Department with the pour. • Assist with the QC process when necessary. • Follow all directions from Plant manager. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS • 6 months in manufacturing environment. • Experience driving a forklift a plus. • Experience operating heavy machinery. • Experience operating a crane a plus. • Ability to work on and repair machinery. • Strong mechanical aptitude. • Ability to accurately measure materials. • Must speak English fluently. • Bilingual a plus PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES • Self starter. • Ability to work independently. • Outgoing and personable. • Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Able to work collaborative in a team environment. • Able to speak and write English effectively.
