Beaver Brook Golf & Country Club is a private club, and we are seeking a Clubhouse Attendant. The Clubhouse Attendant responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the public and private areas of the club. Responsibilities might include cleaning of assigned areas, setting-up club assets for various functions, assisting members, and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Position Details: Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner. Blowing/Sweeping sidewalks, patios, parking areas, tennis courts, pool area daily. Removing trash from public and private areas throughout the clubhouse, pool house, tennis court, and golf course when applicable. Cleaning floors daily according to club standards. Cleaning windows daily according to club standards. Cleaning restrooms daily. Seasonally make sure all entrance are safe for entry and void of snow/ice. Assist various departments with set-up and breakdown of club assets for various functions as needed. Ensure all areas of the club are properly marked for safe operation i.e., railings, lighting, etc., Complete daily assignment check list and submit to supervisor at the end of the day. Practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of self, other associates, and guests. Put all equipment and club assets away properly after usage according to club standards. Other duties as assigned. Working Conditions: The ideal candidate is a self-starter. Ability to collaborate with other employees and take direction well Able to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently. Able to work from a step ladder when needs. Must be able to operate a vehicle/golf cart. Handyman skills are a plus such as familiarity with electrical work, HVAC work and plumbing work i.e., changing light fixtures, air filters, water heaters, drain cleaning, restroom maintenance. Work schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 7am-3pm Overtime if needed
