Description

Spiritual wisdom and practical tips from licensed counselors to walk us towards peace and restoration in our broken and messy relationships. We all experience brokenness in relationships. And often when we feel hurt in relationship we do a lot of things, we build up bitterness and unforgiveness, we break up, we push people away, we form stories in our own heads, we people please, we get angry and say things we regret and we put walls up to keep people out. Our desire around here at Collide is to open the doors for healing. An important part of the healing process is taking stock of our lives and the places and spaces that don't have peace so that we can experience restoration which is why we're so passionate about this topic. For this class, we’ve asked licensed mental health counselors Dawne Grove, MC, LMHC and Kristyn Than, LMHC to come and help us walk towards more peace, mending and restoration in our broken and messy relationships. We will cover topics like: How do I prepare my own heart for restoration? How do I enter into a hard conversation to repair a relationship? How do I assess my own motives? What happens if the person I seek peace with doesn't respond the way I hope they do?What do I do if I can't change the person who hurt me?What is in my control and what isn’t?You will not want to miss this deeply rich and empowering night that is certain to help you walk towards the peace and reconciliation you desire. Expect to experience mental health advice, spiritual wisdom and practical tips and tools that will meet you in the place you find yourself in! What to Expect: At our classes, workshops and retreats, we like to skip the surface-level parts and get right to the heart of what matters to us as women, whether we’re discovering our purpose, facing past wounds, or developing our leadership skills. You’re going to want to come to a class, workshop, or retreat with a teachable spirit, a hunger to learn, your favorite notebook, and a pen with lots of ink so you can jot down all the revelations, action items, and realizations you have as you listen to our expert teachers and chat with other like-minded women. Health and Safety: In following the current guidelines for in-person gatherings masks are optional. If guidelines change in the coming days and weeks, please check back here for updates.
