Description
We are a growing small business seeking someone local (must be walking distance) for part-time work with shipping, packing and logistics on an as needed basis (~3-6 hours per week on average, with occasional bigger projects too). Very flexible schedule - for example, we'd text you that we have 1 or 2 or more hours of work by X date, and you can choose to come at nearly any time you'd like.
Requirements: Our office is located on West 57th St. between 8th/9th Aves and our inventory is in a nearby storage facility on 55th St (between 9th/10th Aves). The ideal candidate is walking distance, so that they're available on relatively short notice and don't mind coming in for short amounts of time to pack orders, restock office inventory supply, ship boxes from our storage facility, etc. Must also be comfortable lifting boxes (some of them moderately heavy) and carting a few medium-large boxes on a dolly between our office and storage facility. Good attention to detail also required.
Compensation: $20/hour (would be "on the books," you'd fill out a 1099 form)
