When I smell, taste, feel, hear, see, discern, and know a person (or object) in front of me I exist in both parts of union with them... People often see what they want and accept biasly what they want to believe... feeding the genie on either side of the shoulder... most understand this as the angel/lightside and demon/darkside and who temps you to feed their win over the other....Now most want to have the angel win... Yet I witness a reoccurring problem for many: They feed the the demon... We don't understand our TRUE selves, our WHOLE selves, our PAST selves, our VULNERABLE selves, or our AUTHENTIC selves. The side that bore the pain, the reality of deep feeling and immense experiencing, the side that the conscious mind needed to protect. It causes disharmony. We turn against ourself for being niave, innocent, needful, open... And become prideful, defensive, demanding, and mentally/emotionally closed off pretending we got things handled...often leading us to chase our own tail ((that next drink, drug, shopping or eating splurge, that comfort that saitiates the side we call weak and stupid, only causing it to get more aggressive and angry, where at moments it takes control, lashing out, causing us to run away from success and dwell in failure, or destroying relationships (or staying in bad ones) or even ourselves, SABOTAGING any progress that may have been had)). We stop looking in the MIRROR. Never seeing our whole self. When I "see" people, I see their entire being, all layers of the self, and more often than not, more than they see until I UNVEIL it by MIRRORING and revealing what they have closed their eyes to... Many of my clients cry. As uncomfortable as it is for me to witness it, my open heart provides space of compassion and understanding (often what they haven't provided themselves) to let them grieve; to experience (often subconsciously) GRATITUDE for being "seen" (very scary at times). On very rare occasions, some get super freaked after acknowledging the truth of it, can't bear being seen, and run hard and fast to hide again, lashing out stronger with anger, resentment, or even worse denial (after self decieving and coming up with explanations to dismiss the experience). To see the true whole person they are and to LOVE the whole person they are, in all their pain, anger, violation, rage, sadness, stubborness, denial, self loathing, etc.... ...this is my MEDICINE (well part of it anyways), to understand, forgive, and to love that side that is a BEAUTIFUL part of them.... So they can BEGIN HEALING and LOVE THEMSELVES... some find it hard to have others love them more than they love themselves and this is beautiful too... its just who they are and its ok. Yet... Behind the veil... ...is the pure truth and wisdom of all experience... ...is nothing new under the sun... ...is our fate and free will... ...is OUR SOUL in all forms, all times and spaces, and all encompassing of BOTH THE LIGHT AND THE DARK, because... Where we see EYE TO EYE lays reality, and only in front of the veil is separation of self and where our two eyes percieve other. When we stop being bias and open our minds to match our hearts and accept totality of the self, then we too straddle the veil... Rev. Dr. J Mambo-Rus
