Description

Looking for a male or female electric guitar player, who can sing and play rhythm and lead, but stronger at rhythm. I play bass in an 8-piece horn band (https://doubleshotband.org/?page_id=5), but want to put together something more creative. The below are songs that I can sing and play bass to. This is about ½ a set list; you can sing and play the other half. If you are interested send me that list. I have a couple of drummers lined up. Burning Down the House – Talking Heads Join me in LA - Warren Zevon Eyes of a Stranger – Payola$ Fisherman's Blues - Railroad Earth Sneakin Sally through the Alley - Robert Palmer Atlantic City - The Band (Bruce Springsteen) Safety Dance - Men Without Hats This and That - Michael Penn Pressed Rat and Warthog – Cream (Ginger Baker) Raspberry Beret – Prince Crackin’ Up - Nick Lowe After Midnight - Eric Clapton (JJ Cale) Something about you - Level 42 It don't come easy - Ringo Starr Mighty Quinn - Manfred Mann (B. Dylan) Dangerous Type – Cars Solid Rock - Dire Straits Money - Pink Floyd Last Time – The Stones Shapes of Things – Yardbirds How’s Tricks – Jack Bruce Oh Well - Fleetwood Mac Mystery Train - Elvis Born under Bad Sign – Albert King Ring in his Nose - Savoy Brown You Left the Water Runnin’ – Billy Price These are songs that I liked to play but can’t sing, maybe you can: She Caught the Katy - Albert King (Taj Mahal) Mr. Jones – Counting Crows Across 110th Street - Bobby Womack
