Are you up to the challenge? Register your adventurous captain and crew today for the best time you'll ever have in cardboard!!! This is our first...but not last...Watertown Lions Club Cardboard Boat Race! This event is a fundraiser for the Watertown Lions Club. The registration fee is to register your team for the race. Your crew is asked to collect pledges that will benefit the "Phillips Family Memorial Scholarship" to be given to a graduating senior from Watertown and Sackets Harbor schools. We ask that you collect a minimum of $100 per team. After you purchase your ticket we will email you the registration packet. If your crew registers before May 8th your captain will get a free Cardboard Boat Race t-shirt. Starting at 11am we will have a rain gutter boat race for kids 10 and under. The Cardboard Boat Race starts at 1pm when boats will race each other through the course in heats. We will have trophies for: The Fastest Boat, The Titanic Award (who's boat is the most spectacular at sinking!), Team Spirit (the team that raises the most money) and Most Creative! So come, float your boat, have fun and support the Watertown Lions Club!
