Trying to sell catalytic converter

Hello. Does anyone know someone or where I can sell my catalytic converter? My roommates car is just sitting and he ended up buying a new one and told me to try and sell it cause we know they have valuable metals but we dint actually know where to sell them. If you can help me with this please let me know By the way my research thus far has kinda gave me the idea that there may be a theft issue with cats. This is not an ongoing thing Im trying to do. i just have one thats already removed. Thanks!
