Description
Hello Jaguars and Jaguar Supporters, welcome to the 39th Annual Bayou Bash! Hello Jaguars and Jaguar Supporters, Welcome to the 39th Annual Bayou Bash! The Bayou Bash will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the African American Museum of Dallas. The Bayou Bash is the SUAF-Dallas Chapter's largest scholarship fundraiser and attracts Southern University alumni and supporters from around the country. These important scholarship funds are used to support our deserving North Texas students attending Southern University. Because of your support, the SUAF-Dallas Chapter awarded over $42,000 in scholarship funds during the 2021-2022 school year. This year the Bayou Bash will be "back on lawn" of the African American Museum of Dallas as in years past! Also, based on the success of our contactless Bayou Bash drive-thru last year, we are incorporating it again for those who would like to pick up a delicious meal to go. The drive-thru will be conducted for a limited amount of hours BEFORE the lawn portion of the Bayou Bash begins. Meals purchased for the drive-thru must be picked up during drive-thru hours. All drive-thru meals must be pre-paid in advance, no payments for drive-thru meals will be accepted on-site. Once you arrive, please remain in your vehicle. You will be directed to the meal pick-up location in the parking lot. At the meal pick-up location, your meal will be delivered by our volunteers. Once you have received your meal, you will be directed to an exit from the parking lot. Drive-thru meals cannot be converted to an in-person option and will not be distributed after the allotted drive-thru time. Because of you, The SUAF-Dallas Chapter is able to continue its mission of supporting our deserving North Texas scholarship students attending Southern University. We are excited to see you! Jaguar Pride, SUAF-Dallas Chapter The SUAF-Dallas Chapter is an exempt, not-for-profit organization as described under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
