Franklin Method® for Pilates Trainers Come learn tools to help you and your clients experience how the body’s design has built in efficiency, strength, flexibility, and balance. Having a clear image in the brain creates positive change immediately, because the nervous system is on board. Pelvic Power for Core Integration This workshop focuses on the practical application of imagery techniques to increase the power, alignment and flexibility of the pelvic joints and muscles. Experience how to balance the joints and the natural bone rhythms of the pelvis (hip,low back, sacrum) to support healthy function. Understanding how the sacrum moves is key to creating safe, efficient movement. We will follow up the Franklin Method class with applications to the pilates repertoire. Your Dynamic Base The foot has to absorb force and be both a balancing platform and a lever that propels you! How can it do so many diverse functions? With the Franklin Method ™ Explore the functions of your feet and lower leg using, self touch, anatomical imagery, exercises, and banding. Improve agility, balance and well-being of your feet in walking, running, jumping and dancing. Taught by Alyce Morgan Franklin Method Faculty and Educator Level 3 Alyce has been a pilates trainer for 25 years. Her studio, Wise Body, was a certifying studio for Physical Mind Institute from 2000-2010. Her newer studio, Embody Zest!, offered Franklin Method, Pilates, and Aerial hammocks but closed during the pandemic of 2020.
