As a part of our 2022 Strategy Series, Scott Latham returns for part three of Crafting Strategy: The revenge of Strategic Execution
Crafting Strategy III: The Revenge of Strategic Execution
In the past two seminars at the iHub, I’ve discussed crafting business models and strategy, in this session we will get down and dirty around strategic execution.
When we look at failed strategies, research suggest that flawed execution is often the primary culprit. The famous boxing saying is that “everyone has a plan, until they get hit in the face.” – well in many ways, the sentiment sums up the challenge of strategic execution.
No matter how well thought out your plan, once the customers, competitors, and employees get involved, then all bets are off.
This workshop will focus on strategic execution through the introduction of two related frameworks: activity maps and feedback loops. The session will be useful for individuals that are in charge of strategic execution in companies both large and small across all industries.
