Responsibilities: Grounds work including pressure washing, picking up debris, leaf blowing, cleaning and cleaning vacant units. Strong focus on keeping the outdoor areas neat and presentable. Empty and dispose of trash cans. Provide excellent customer service to the residents. Maintain grounds and amenities for the exterior and curb appeal of the office, parking lots, and other community buildings owned by the employer. Job Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and raking. Lift/carry 60 pounds, when necessary. Gardening duties include mow, tree trimming, hedging, weed whacking, raking leaves, and repairing sprinklers. Shovel snow from walkways and sprinkle ice melt to keep the walkway clean from ice and snow. (Weather permitting) Qualifications: Have a valid ID. Read, write, speak, and follow written directions in English. Lift to 60 lbs. Labor intensive. Previous experience preferred- not required- will train! Verifiable work history that confirms your professional skills and experience. Pass additional screening requirements, such as a background check and/or drug screenings. Reliable Transportation is a must! Must wear all required PPE. Hours: The standard work schedule is from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Employer will offer 25 hours per week. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
