VAS, a non-profit SHIP organization, presents Medicare classes for those turning 65 or about to retire, and provides follow-up counseling. Medicare health insurance can be very confusing. If you or someone you know will be turning 65 or starting Medicare within the next six months, this workshop is a great place to learn about the basics of Medicare and the decisions you will face. VAS has no affiliation with insurance companies and is staffed by SHIP certified volunteers. Our class is unbiased and free of charge, but please register in advance, as class size is limited.  The class is currently being offered at: New Cassel Retirement Center - Auditorium 900 North 90th Street Park in the north parking lot and use side entrance marked 'Auditorium'.
