Join us as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of A League of Their Own, voted one of the top ten sports movies of all time! Who can forget that raucous Suds Bucket bar scene from A League of Their Own and Marla Hooch's boozy rendition of "It's Got to Be You"? Join us and Megan Cavanaugh who played Marla 'What a Hitter' Hooch for a special 1940s party for 400 Celebration sponsors, guests and the ticket holders on the top two floors of The Standard with its' spectacular rooftop patio views of Rockford and City Market below. Guests can partake of appetizers and desserts catered by Greenfire, as well as a full cash bar and Signature Drinks from bars on both floors. The evening includes live and video entertainment and autograph and photo opportunities with Megan as well as players from the original Rockford Peaches and the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL). LOTO30 event limited-edition merchandise will be available for purchase at the SPoRT booth in the lower level of City Market, 116 Madison St., Rockford, IL, on Fridays (June 17 and June 24) ahead of the Celebration and in the same location on Friday, July 1. Merchandise includes tees, jerseys, logo leather baseballs, reproduction Peaches Championship pennants, LOTO30 Celebration posters and artist-signed and numbered giclee prints. Many items will be suitable for autographs. Proceeds benefit the International Women's Baseball Center. Casual and sports-themed attire is recommended. Souvenir LOTO30 logo shot glasses will be offered when guests leave the event.$5 Signature drinks include The Marla Hooch Homerun Mojito and The Suds Bucket Slushy. For $10 the Suds Bucket Slushy will be served in a souvenir LOTO30 logo ball light-up tumblerMegan Cavanagh will be available for Step & Repeat photos will top sponsors only, and will be also be available for autographs only from 6:15 pm to 7:00 pm.
