Enjoy classical chamber music courtesy of Western Piedmont Symphony, the Kontras Quartet and The Sharpe House in a beautiful setting. Through the generosity of Western Piedmont Symphony's outreach program, a free concert will be held Sunday April 3rd at the historic Statesville landmark The Chapel on Walnut. Performed by the Kontras Quartet, guests will enjoy classical chamber music in the beautiful venue. There is so much that we, the Western Piedmont Symphony, want to do for our community. We want to perform innovative, uplifting concerts to nourish your souls. We want to connect with all members of our community and create an atmosphere where all feel welcome.We want to provide engaging, educational programs year-round, both for young students and for lifelong learners. We want to take our music outside the concert hall and into your schools, libraries, wineries, retirement communities, downtown squares, and just about anywhere else we can fit.With our music, we hope to inspire; to innovate; to entertain; to educate; to ensure that everyone in this community can experience the power of the arts.
