As a faculty member of the Catholic University of America and an Adjunct Professor at Aquinas College, Sister Anna Wray will focus on philosophical psychology as expressed by and in response to Aristotle’s account of the activity of contemplation.
Sister Anna Wray
Anna Wray, a native of Connecticut, entered the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia in 2002. After completing her initial formation at her community’s motherhouse in Nashville, sister taught apologetics, spiritual theology, and Church history at the high school level.
In 2019, she received her doctorate in philosophy from her undergraduate alma mater, The Catholic University of America. Her dissertation and current research focuses on philosophical psychology, both as expressed by and in response to Aristotle’s account of the activity of contemplation.
Sister Wray a faculty member at the Catholic University of America, where she teaches courses in ethics, rhetoric, the philosophy of religion, and the history of philosophy. She is also an adjunct professor at Aquinas College, and is involved with various initiatives of the Thomistic Institute.
