Come create a lawn "salad" with us at Dorothea Dix park as we search for Chickweed to make pesto! Meet Up Location: Dorothea Dix Park Lets walk this Saturday as we work on how to identify chickweed and discuss its nutritional values. 7 out of 10 strength and endurance - approximately 3 1/2 mile walk on very few dedicated paths Dress for weather and comfort Bring tools for gathering fungi and water and bag lunch. *Must wear BRIGHT ORANGE or REFLECTIVE clothing / hat* Identification materials will be provided at the location.
