Join us April 19, 2022 at 5:30pm for a DIY hands on workshop to learn all about the basic method of making your own herbal tinctures. This is a great opportunity for a limited number of attendees to get hands on instruction from an experienced herbalist to learn how to start preparing your own herbal tinctures at home. We'll be making three different herbal tinctures in the workshop and will go over basic principles of herbal extracts and recommended ways to use them. NOTE: All necessary equipment and materials will be provided however, you will need to provide your own 40%/80 proof alcohol of your choosing. You will need a 750ml bottle of liquor of your choice; brandy is popular for herbal remedies but vodka & rum work just as nicely. The better quality the ingredients the better the medicine; so its recommended to use an organic and unflavored alcohol if you can find it, but feel free to bring what you have. If you have higher proof alcohol feel free to bring that instead and we'll cover how to dilute to a lower percentage. Special note: The studio space we are using has a dance floor installed and requires guests to remove their shoes so feel free to bring a comfy pair of socks if you do not wish to go barefoot.
