Description

The Mississippi Day of Empathy will be a day of turning EMPATHY into ACTION. The Mississippi Day of Empathy, powered by Dream Corps Justice, is being hosted by the Mississippi Dream Corps Justice Empathy Network Leader and Founder of the Mississippi Center for Re-Entry, Cynetra Freeman. This special day will feature system-impacted advocates from across the state of Mississippi. There will be impact letter readings of letters submitted by currently incarcerated individuals as well as you will hear from speakers ranging from a death row survivor, formerly incarcerated, family members of currently incarcerated individuals and more! This year's theme is: Walk in Our Shoes.
