Hosted by Cheryl Hackett and John Grosvenor, Admire the beautiful, historic Restmere Estate while enjoying the music of some local artists. Save the Date for a memorable, distinctive and musical event. On Saturday, June 4, Circle of Friends welcomes a limited number of guests to enjoy a live concert with a storied Aquidneck Island setting serving as the backdrop. Th evening begins with tours of Restmere, the lovingly restored 1857 Italianate Villa that is home to hosts Cheryl Hackett and John Grosvernor. After enjoying a peek at Restmere’s interior restoration and basement art gallery, guests will enjoy cocktails, light bites, and an unforgettable night of music on the lawn of this historic home, nicknamed ‘The Blues House’ during 1964 Newport Folk Festival. The story is chronicled in the documentary Two Trains Runnin. The lineup nods to the musical roots that run deep at Restmere and in Newport. The evening features extraordinary musicians combining their talents to engage and entertain the circle of friends who make life better for children and young people in foster care. Featured artists: Renowned classical Guitarist John Monllos and Vocalist Joanne Rondino tour throughout New England as the musical duo John and Joanne. They will be joined by several of their noted musical friends. Brass Force, fueled by the talent of ten exceptional musicians whose high-energy and musical skills have rocked RI and the region for more than 20 years – earning them a place as one of the area’s most beloved bands. Ticket price of $200 per person includes house and art gallery tour, cocktails and light fare, concert, and a commemorative concert gift box. $500 Circle of Friends Patron Package includes 2 tickets and the above features, and recognition as a patron in program materials.
