Royal Farms Officially Opens Up In Norristown

NORRISTOWN, PA — At long last, the promise of Royal Farms and its famous fried chicken has been realized in Norristown. The popular convenience store and gas station combination celebrated its grand opening this week at its new store on 1820 Markley Street. The store was welcomed by other local businesses and community leaders in the Norristown area. While the chicken is the "RoFo" staple, it also offers deli sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs, coffee, and more — giving Wawa a kind of competitor in the region. All told, Royal Farms has 219 stores across several states, including 18 in Pennsylvania. The store was first approved for construction back in the summer of 2016.
