Due to growth, Koppers, an integrated global provider of treated wood products, wood treatment, chemicals, and carbon compound, is searching for a Production Supervisor to join their 2nd shift team at their largest facility in the Little Rock, AR area. If you have Manufacturing or Warehouse experience and the ability to lead a team, Koppers wants to hear from you! Core Job Duties: Responsible for the day-to-day production activities with a primary emphasis on Safety, Health, & Environmental compliance and production performance. Inspect cross ties and switch ties according to industry and customer specifications. Complete safety observations, recognize and address potential issues and concerns as they arise. Manage material awaiting inspection ensuring all loads are ran within 15 days of receipt. Maintain housekeeping for areas supervised. Responsible for the hourly employees in the tie yard (Tie tramming station, End-plate Machine, Drip track). There will be 10 employees reporting to this position.
